Portes du Soleil spans the French–Swiss border and brings together 12 resorts, including Avoriaz, Morzine, Châtel, and Champéry, into a vast 600 km (372 mi) ski area. Known for its wide variety, scenic pistes, and freestyle zones, it’s one of Europe’s largest and most accessible ski regions.
Skiing in Portes du Soleil means crossing borders on skis and discovering terrain for every type of skier. Avoriaz is known for its snowparks and dramatic clifftop setting, while Morzine and Les Gets offer family-friendly charm. Experts can test themselves on the infamous Swiss Wall mogul run.
Avoriaz: Set high on a dramatic cliffside, Avoriaz is purpose-built to maximise sunlight exposure, while its slopes remain shaded to preserve excellent snow conditions. This car-free resort is known for its ski-in ski-out convenience and striking architectural style.
Morzine: Situated at the heart of Portes du Soleil, Morzine is a charming year-round alpine village blending French and Swiss cultures. Certified as a "Famille Plus Montagne" destination, it offers extensive off-slope entertainment and vibrant après-ski suitable for visitors of all ages.
Châtel: A traditional French alpine village, Châtel retains its authentic farming heritage. It offers two distinct ski sectors, one connecting to Avoriaz on the French side and the other linking to Swiss resorts like Morgins and Torgon.
Les Gets: Closely linked with Morzine, Les Gets is a family-friendly resort known for its scenic tree-lined pistes. Best suited to intermediate skiers, it is ideal to visit mid-season for optimal snow conditions.

I usually book flights, ground transportation, hotel, ski rental and lift tickets myself but this year used WeSki for a trip to Morzine. It was so much easier. Everything worked perfectly - ground transportation arrived on time and there was plenty of feedback throughout the whole process giving you confidence the vacation would go smoothly.
A really useful service that is so much easier to use than other 'all-inclusive' sites. It nicely bridges the gap between a travel agent and booking the trip yourself online. I'll use WeSki every time I go skiing from now on.
We booked a late minute skiing trip to Morzine through we ski. We looked at booking the trip ourselves but could get anywhere near the price quoted by we ski. The company was excellent and we had no problems at all from start to finish. I would definitely use them to book another weekend skiing trip.
Seamless experience from start to finish. I was spending ages trying to sort out a weekend break and managed to do it with we ski in minutes and for the same price as booking it all up yourself. Flight, transit and accommodation was all as expected and faultless.
