On the mountain, Le Massif is best known for its vertical drop. At 770m, it's the biggest east of the Rockies, and an unusual one. Its summit sits at 806m and the base is almost at sea level on the riverbank, so you can choose to start your day from top or bottom. Across 406 acres and 53 runs, there's terrain for most levels. Beginners have gentle groomers and a sheltered learning area near the summit. Intermediates get long, rolling blue cruisers down the gentle eastern side. Strong skiers come for steep, fall-line blacks and the forest glades the mountain’s known for. The pick of them is La Charlevoix, its longest and steepest run at 5.1km, and on top of that, there's more than 100 acres of off-piste to hike into. Being right on the St Lawrence gives Le Massif its own snowy microclimate, and the moist river air brings some of the heaviest, most frequent snowfall in eastern Canada. The season runs from early December into April.
There's a real holiday to be had here beyond skiing. Charlevoix is a renowned food region, and its Route des Saveurs (or Flavour Trail) links farms, cheesemakers, and pastry shops to the local restaurants. The best-known activity off the slopes is the sled run, a 7.5km luge track down the eastern edge of the mountain, the longest in North America. A snowcat takes you up and the gondola brings you back. You'll also find snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and alpine touring, so there's plenty to fill the days you're not skiing. The nearby arts town of Baie-Saint-Paul, about 15 minutes away, is also worth a visit for galleries, shops, and places to eat.

4.9/5Je réserve habituellement moi-même les vols, les transferts, l'hôtel, la location du matériel de ski et les forfaits ski, mais cette année j'ai utilisé WeSki pour un séjour à Morzine. C'était tellement plus simple. Tout a parfaitement fonctionné - les transferts sont arrivés à l'heure et il y avait beaucoup de retours d'information tout au long du processus, ce qui vous donne confiance que les vacances se dérouleront sans problème.
Un service vraiment utile qui est beaucoup plus facile à utiliser que d'autres sites "tout compris". Il comble parfaitement le fossé entre une agence de voyage et la réservation du séjour par vous-même en ligne. J'utiliserai WeSki chaque fois que j'irai au ski à partir de maintenant.
Nous avons réservé un séjour au ski de dernière minute à Morzine via WeSki. Nous avions envisagé de réserver le séjour nous-mêmes, mais nous n'avons pas pu trouver un prix aussi avantageux que celui proposé par WeSki. L'entreprise a été super et nous n'avons rencontré aucun problème du début à la fin. Je passerai certainement de nouveau par eux pour réserver un autre week-end au ski.
Une expérience fluide du début à la fin. Je passais des heures à essayer d'organiser un week-end et j'ai réussi à le faire avec WeSki en quelques minutes et pour le même prix que si je l'avais réservé moi-même. Le vol, le transfert et l'hébergement étaient tous comme prévu et nous n'avons rencontré aucun problème.
