Gudauri is the highest and largest ski resort in Georgia, nestled an impressive 7220 ft above sea level, on a south-facing sunny side of the Greater Caucasus mountains. A 22 miles of trail suitable for all ski and snowboard abilities combined with the Georgian food and culture makes this a fantastic destination for a winter vacation. Families may also find this a great choice of ski resort as lift ticketes are free for children up to the age of 6 years old. The reliable snow and high altitude mean that the season can last up to 5 months and sometimes lifts will stay open as late as May! Thrill seekers can enjoy the world-famous heli-skiing or if you fancy the day off from skiing you can give tubing a go!
