Flaine is a Bauhaus inspired ski resort, known for having premium snow quality due to its location within a high forested snow bowl. This ski-in/ski-out resort is located within the vast Grand Massif area in the Northern French Alps. In the upper Flaine Foret zone, you’ll find a variety of self-catering apartments, and above the lower Flaine Forum zone, you’ll find hotels, apartments, shops, and restaurants. The place is well-suited for families, as it has plenty of safe areas for children and high-quality childcare options. There’s also 160 miles of varied terrain and slopes for skiers of all abilities. You won’t find too much of an après-ski scene here, but other off-slope activities include an ice rink, ice-driving circuit, climbing wall, gymnasium, plus a cinema, art gallery, and library.
