As one of Italy’s most famous ski resorts, Madonna di Campiglio is a chic yet family-friendly destination that offers breathtaking scenery courtesy of the surrounding Brenta Dolomites, 94 miles of tree lined and open slopes, and plenty of off-trail activities. The village itself is pedestrian-friendly and set in a beautiful wooded valley, dotted with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, offering easy access to multiple lifts. The surrounding ski area has a variety of terrain types perfect for both beginners and intermediates, and the boundless snowmaking system ensures dependable conditions throughout the ski season. Most of the main trails feature state-of-the-art chairs and gondolas, and the terrain spans as far north as Folgarida and as far south as Pinzolo.
