With six interconnected peaks, more than 607 ha (1,500 acres) of skiable terrain, and a vertical drop of 930 m (3,050 ft), Killington offers incredible variety for skiers of all levels.
Beginners: Killington is beginner-friendly, particularly around Snowshed and Ramshead, where you’ll find wide learning zones, gentle greens like Easy Street and Bear Cub, and dedicated ski school areas. The Snowshed slope and express lifts provide a comfortable entry into skiing for first-timers.
Intermediates: With over 50 blue runs and terrain spread across multiple peaks, intermediates have plenty to explore. Popular trails like Juggernaut and Cruise Control allow skiers to enjoy long descents and develop technique. The K-1 Gondola offers access to panoramic runs from Killington Peak with confidence-boosting challenges.
Advanced: Advanced skiers are spoiled for choice. From steep bump runs to narrow tree lines, this resort delivers East Coast intensity. Outer Limits and Devil’s Fiddle are signature double black trails, and the terrain off Bear Mountain and Killington Peak demands expert-level skill and stamina.
Snowboarding: Killington is renowned for its terrain parks, including The Stash, a natural-feature park with over 50 elements, and a 152 m (500 ft) Superpipe with 5.48 m (18 ft) walls. Woodward Mountain Park spans multiple zones, catering to progression from beginner to expert freestyle. Glades and ungroomed runs also offer plenty of off-piste excitement.
Families benefit from clear signage, ski-in/ski-out lodgings, and multiple beginner zones with progression-friendly lifts. Childcare and group lessons are available at Ramshead, and non-ski activities like tubing and sleigh rides ensure entertainment for all ages.
Snow activities: Tubing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, snowcat-drawn sleigh rides.
Non-skiing activities: Wellness & spa, adventure centre.
Killington’s après scene is among the best on the East Coast. From outdoor fire pits and live music to slope-side bars, there’s something for every vibe. The Wobbly Barn is a Killington institution for drinks, dancing, and live bands. For a more laid-back atmosphere, try the Lookout Tavern or Liquid Art. Whether you want a lively party or a cozy pint, there’s a place to unwind after skiing.
The culinary scene in Killington is diverse, ranging from casual eats to fine dining. The Foundry at Summit Pond is a standout with its lakeside views and elevated American cuisine, while Preston’s at Killington Grand offers upscale dining with local ingredients. For a more relaxed meal, head to Sushi Yoshi for Asian fusion and après drinks, or Choices Restaurant for hearty classics with a Vermont twist.

I usually book flights, transfers, hotel, ski rental and lift passes myself but this year used WeSki for a trip to Morzine. It was so much easier. Everything worked perfectly - transfers arrived on time and there was plenty of feedback throughout the whole process giving you confidence the holiday would go smoothly.
A really useful service that is so much easier to use than other 'all-inclusive' sites. It nicely bridges the gap between a travel agent and booking the trip yourself online. I will use WeSki every time I go skiing from now on.
We booked a late minute skiing trip to Morzine through we ski. We looked at booking the trip ourselves but could get anywhere near the price quoted by we ski. The company was excellent and we had no problems at all from start to finish. I would definitely use them to book another weekend skiing trip.
Seamless experience from start to finish. I was spending ages trying to sort out a weekend break and managed to do it with we ski in minutes and for the same price as booking it all up yourself. Flight, transfer and accommodation was all as expected and faultless.
